Greenwood Forest Park

Snowdonia's exceptional award-winning family attraction, Greenwood Forest Park, makes a great family day out , whatever the weather. Situated between Bangor and Caernarfon, the park is only a short drive from the main A55.

The park has an amazing assortment of rides. A ride on the exciting Green Dragon rollercoaster is sure to be a favourite with the children, or test your problem solving abilities on the Crocodile Maze, a unique boardwalk maze. A first for Wales is the Giant Jumper, a huge bouncing pillow for the under 12's.

The Great Green Run is the longest sledge run in Wales at 70 metres! Children can play in complete safety at the Tree Top Towers, four tall timber towers that are connected by a series of netted walkways and colourful tube slides and designed for the under sevens is the Tunnel Warren. There are also two adventure playgrounds and a Toddlers Village at the Park. New for 2008 is the Mega Kool Moon Karts - formula 1 fun. There are also two adventure playgrounds at the park.

The open air Forest Theatre hosts regular performances throughout the season. Try out your hand at archery where you can get the opportunity to shoot a traditional longbow. At the medieval style Visitor Centre you can learn more about forests and conservation, find Celtic tree calendars, or learn about the Welsh bowmen at Agincourt.

Other facilities include gift shops, the Conservatory Cafe and snack bars.
